Retired projects.

Nothing here is being actively developed anymore. We keep these pages online because the reasoning, the accessibility work, and the lessons still matter — and because most of them fed directly into something newer.

    Mirebound

Almost every game assumes you can see the screen. Blind and low-vision players are left with menus they cannot read, worlds they cannot move through, and stories they cannot share.

Why it stopped: Mirebound is retired. Everything we learned building it — spatial navigation, audio landmarks, screen-reader-friendly menus, a gentle listening tutorial — went straight into a bigger, better-scoped game. Rather than keep patching Mirebound's prototype systems, we rebuilt them properly and shipped Warden's Call, an audio adventure set in the world of the Demon Cycle, now playable for testing. Mirebound's build stays online as an archive, but new development and support move to Warden's Call. Thank you to everyone who tested, sent recordings, and told us where the sound stopped making sense — you shaped what came next.
