Who we are

Open Independence builds AI-powered apps that remove barriers, open opportunities, and empower every person to live, learn, communicate, and thrive. We are a mission-driven team led by a blind founder, and every product we make starts from a real challenge faced by someone striving for more independence.

Technology should adapt to people — not the other way around. That is why our beta testers are not just users: they are partners. Everything we ship is tested, refined, and improved with input from the people who rely on it.
